Gardaí are launching a fresh initiative to clamp down on dangerous road behaviour.

Gardaí are launching a fresh initiative to clamp down on dangerous road behaviour.

Operation Focus will target high risk areas around the country with checkpoints, speed cameras and 'Automated Number Plate Recognition' vehicles.

It is already underway in Dublin today and will be rolled out nationwide over the next six months during high risk times such as early morning and evening.
