Gardaí say they are keeping an "open mind" in relation to their investigation into the discovery of a man's body in the Phoenix Park in Dublin.

Gardaí say they are keeping an "open mind" in relation to their investigation into the discovery of a man's body in the Phoenix Park in Dublin.

Just after 1am, a park ranger stumbled upon the remains of the man who appeared to have been burnt

The Office of the State Pathologist is due to exam the body at the scene before it is removed for a full post mortem.

Efforts are also being made to identify the man and anyone with information is asked to contact Cabra Garda Station.
