Gardaí in Dublin are appealing to the public for information following a shooting in Coolock yesterday evening.

Gardaí in Dublin are appealing to the public for information following a shooting in Coolock yesterday evening.

Two men approach a parked car on Snowdrop Walk in Darndale at around 6pm and discharged a firearm through the car window.

There was nobody in the vehicle at the time, and there are no reports of any injuries.

The scene remains sealed off pending a technical examination.

No arrests have been made, and Gardai are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
