Gardaí investigating Kenneth O'Brien murder examine farm yard close to torso find

Gardaí investigating the murder of Kenneth O'Brien are examining a farm yard close to the Grand Canal where his body was found.

The 33-year-old's dismembered body was found in a suitcase in the Canal at Ardclough Village on Saturday.

Gardaí say that they are still trying to find out where the father of one was killed and 200 lines of inquiry are being examined.

Superintendent Gerry Wall said they have not yet been able to identify where the murder was carried out.

Supt Wall said: "That is something that is very important to us, to date, we don’t know. So, it is very important that people come to us with whatever information they may have.

"Any person who may have come back to their property, and they have found it disturbed or not the way they have left it, we would be very anxious to hear from those people."
