Gardaí investigate two shooting incidents in West Dublin

There were two separate shooting incidents in Dublin last night.

A shot was fired at the front door of a house on Corduff Avenue in the west of the city at around 10pm.

Gardaí believe a shotgun put a hole through the door of the house in the attack.

A second house was then targeted at around 1am this morning in the nearby Corduff Place.

Windows were smashed when a shotgun was fired at least four times at the house.

No injuries were reported in either attack and it is not known if there was anyone in the houses at the time of the attacks.

Gardaí are investigating the incidents in order to discover if there is a connection between the shootings.
