Gardaí will carry out a forensic examination following a shooting incident in Dublin last night.
Two men received gunshot injuries and are recovering in hospital this morning.
The incident happened at Clifden Drive, Ballyfermot, at around 10.20pm last night when two men were shot.
The men, one aged 53 and the other in his early 20’s, were taken to St. James' Hospital for treatment.
Their injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
The area was sealed off overnight while Gardaí carry out a technical examination.
Gardaí in Ballyfermot are appealing to anyone who may have noticed any suspicious activity in Clifden Drive area of Ballyfermot between 10pm and 10.30pm to contact them.
