A 13-year-old boy has gone missing from his home in Co. Cavan.

Gardaí in Cavan 'concerned' for missing teenage boy

A 13-year-old boy has gone missing from his home in Co. Cavan.

Christopher Healy was last seen at approximately 1.30pm today as he left his home at Drumacarrow Co Cavan to cycle into the town of Bailieboro.

He is described as being approximately four feet six inches tall with brown hair.

When last seen he was wearing a high visibility jacket, grey tracksuit bottoms, black and gold Asics trainers.

It is also believed that Christopher was wearing a cycle helmet.

Christopher’s family and Gardaí are concerned for his welfare and anyone who may have seen him or can assist in locating him are asked to contact Bailieboro Garda Station on 042- 9694570 , the Garda Confidential Line 1 800 666 111 or any Garda Station.

update (Sunday, 10.47am): Christopher Healy has been located safe and well.
