Three men in their early 30's remain in Garda custody this morning, in connection with a cash-in-transit robbery in Dublin yesterday evening.

Three men in their early 30's remain in Garda custody this morning, in connection with a cash-in-transit robbery in Dublin yesterday evening.

Security staff who were making a delivery at a shopping centre in Raheny Village were approached by three men at around quarter to five.

They threatened staff and fled the scene with a cash box.

Three men were arrested in the Coolock area a short time after the incident and are being detained at Clontarf Garda Station.

Gardaí recovered the cash box and nobody was injured during the incident.
