A man has been charged in connection with a cash-in-transit robbery in Dublin on Thursday.

A man has been charged in connection with a cash-in-transit robbery in Dublin on Thursday.

Gardaí investigating the robbery which happened on La Touche Road, Bluebell, Dublin 12, charged the 19-year-old man who is due before Dublin District Court this afternoon.

The man was arrested on Friday morning shortly after midnight on Francis Street, Dublin, when the car he was driving was stopped and searched and a sum of money discovered.

He was detained at Kevin Street Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.
