Two men have been arrested in connection with the death of a young man in Cabra in Dublin.
The 21-year-old was found near the Cabra House Pub at Fassaugh Avenue this morning and he died in hospital a short time later.
A technical examination has been carried out at the scene and a post mortem is due to get underway.
Superintendent David Taylor from the Garda Press Office says the victim was at a party in the area and he has appealed for a taxi driver who may have been in the area at the time to contact them.
The man died after being found seriously injured on the road at about 7.30am on Fassaugh Avenue, Cabra, north Dublin.
Gardaí said he was taken to the Mater Hospital with serious injuries where he later died after what is believed to have been an assault.
