Gardaí have arrested three people in a jewellery and cash seizure in County Dublin.

Gardaí have arrested three people in a jewellery and cash seizure in County Dublin.

The discovery was made yesterday when Gardaí from the Organised Crime Unit stopped and searched a car near Balrothery, County Dublin.

Gardaí working as part of 'Operation Fiacla' arrested two men, aged 42 and 35, and a juvenile at the scene.

The two men were taken to Balbriggan and Drogheda Garda Stations where they are currently detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.

The juvenile was released from Garda custody without charge.
