Gardaí in Kildare want to speak to three men who may be able to help them solve the murder of Kenneth O'Brien.

The men were seen walking towards the Grand Canal in Sallins between on the evening of Saturday the January 16.

Detectives believe Mr O'Brien's body parts were scattered in the canal after his death.

They are questioning two men arrested last weekend but Sgt Gerry Goode told Kfm they still want to make contact with witnesses: “We are seeking to identify three males who may be in a position to offer us some further assistance, who came from the direction of the apartments in Sallins, towards the canal between 7pm and 8pm, on the January 16.

“That is the Saturday evening between 7pm and 8pm.”
