Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to a shooting incident in Dublin yesterday evening.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to a shooting incident in Dublin yesterday evening.

A man in 30s was injured after he was shot on the Bawnogue road in Clondalkin shortly after 6pm.

He made his way into Clondalkin garda station before he was transferred to Tallaght hospital with serious injuries.

The scene on Bawnogue Road and part of Tower Road has been sealed off for a technical examination and Gardaí are appealing for witnesses.

Anyone who witnessed the incident is asked to contact Clondalkin Garda Station.
