Gardaí have said a man found dead in Edenderry, Co Offaly was last seen alive at around 11am last Thursday morning.

Gardaí have said a man found dead in Edenderry, Co Offaly was last seen alive at around 11am last Thursday morning.

The body of Thomas 'Toddy' Dooley was discovered at his house in Sister Senan Court yesterday afternoon.

The 65 year-old appears to have suffered head injuries.

Inspector Kieran Keyes is asking anyone with information to contact Gardaí in Tullamore on 057-9327600.
