Gardaí at Ronanstown are appealing for witnesses following a fatal road traffic collision at Station Road, Palmerstown Wood, Clondalkin on July 26 2012.

At approximately 8.15pm a male, aged in his late 20s, was seriously injured when the motor cycle he was driving was involved in a collision with a motor car at the junction of Palmerstown Woods estate and Station Road.

He was taken by ambulance to Tallaght Hospital where he was pronounced dead. His passenger, a male aged in his 20s, was also taken to hospital with injuries.

Forensic collision investigators are at the scene and diversions are in place.
