Independent Presidential candidate Seán Gallagher has said he "abhors" the decisions made by the last Fianna Fáil Government.

Independent Presidential candidate Seán Gallagher has said he "abhors" the decisions made by the last Fianna Fáil Government.

Mr Gallagher made the statement in Cork this morning.

He was asked last night on the Prime Time television presidential debate whether he condemned what Fianna Fáil did while in Government.

Mr Gallagher today said he "couldn't condemn the ordinary grass roots members" of the party throughout the country, but that he "abhorred many of the decisions of the last Government" and the mismanagement of Ireland's economy.
