The count for Ireland South has finished for the night and will resume in the morning.

None of the candidates made the quota after two counts, however Fianna Fail's Brian Crowley and Fine Gael's Sean Kelly are set to be elected after they gained 118,000 and 93,000 first preferences, respectively.

Transfers will now decide the four-way battle for the final seat between Sinn Fein's Troiréasa Ferris, Alan Kelly of Labour, Independent Kathy Sinnott and Colm Burke of Fine Gael.
