Ian Paisley and Martin McGuinness have announced the appointment of four new victims commissioners in the North.

The appointments are apparently aimed at resolving an alleged disagreement between the First Minister and Deputy First Minister over who should get the job.

The new commissioners include broadcaster Mike Nesbitt and Mediation NI founder Brendan McAllister.

The others are Bertha McDougall, whose husband was an RUC officer killed by the IRA, and Patricia McBride, whose son was killed by the British army.
