Gardaí investigating burglaries in Dublin have arrested four people and recovered suspected stolen goods in Co. Wexford.

Gardaí investigating burglaries in Dublin have arrested four people and recovered suspected stolen goods in Co. Wexford.

It follows an intelligence lead operation targeting suspects involved in burglaries in the Blackrock, Dun Laoghaire and general Dublin area.

Gardaí from Blackrock, Dun Laoghaire and local stations supported by the Regional Support Unit, conducted a number of planned searches at residences in Courtown and Wexford town this morning.

During the course of these searches, house breaking implements, suspected stolen items including jewellery and watches, locksmiths tools, car key grabbers, foreign currency and other items were recovered.

Three men, aged between 20 and 50, and a woman in her 30s, were arrested at the locations, and are currently detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act at Wexford, Enniscorthy and Gorey Garda stations.
