The fire broke out in two flats at School Street Flats in the Liberties area.
3 units of Dublin Fire Brigade attended the scene including a turntable ladder.
The fire was brought under control and put out. Firefighters searched the building and established no one had been injured.
Last night, firefighters from Phibsborough and Tara St dealt with a fire in a multi storey building. 5 fire engines attended along with ambulances. No injuries reported.
