Fine Gael remains the country's most popular political party, according to the latest opinion poll.

Fine Gael remains the country's most popular political party, according to the latest opinion poll.

The Red C poll for Paddy Power shows the party on 28%, down one point from last month, while Labour is down two to 10%.

Fianna Fáil are unchanged on 22% - the same level as independents and others - while Sinn Féin are up three to 18%.

The poll also finds that 38% of the public support the legalisation of cannabis, with 57% opposed.
