Elderly woman dies in Kildare road accident

A 70-year-old woman has died in a road accident on the N7 in Co Kildare.

A 70-year-old woman has died in a road accident on the N7 in Co Kildare.

The woman was a passenger in a car which was in collision with two trucks between Kildare town and Monasterevin.

The woman's daughter, who was driving the car, was also seriously injured and is being treated in Naas General Hospital.
