Eight to appear in court in connection with sale and supply of controlled substances
Eight people are due to appear in court this morning in connection with the sale and supply of controlled substances in the Kilkenny - Carlow Division.
They are due to appear before a special sitting of Carlow District Court.
A further five people, charged as part of an ongoing investigation have been released from Garda custody and are due to appear before the courts at a later date.
A total of 38 people have been arrested and detained across the division as part of 'Operation Clave'
Drugs worth in excess of €50,000, an air pistol, stun gun and pepper spray have also been seized in a series of planned searches.
