Graham Dwyer of Kerrymount Close, Foxrock, was to stand trial in April next year but the case has been moved forward to next January.

Father-of-two, Graham Dwyer is accused of murdering Elaine O'Hara on August 22, 2012.

The remains of the childcare worker were found on Killakee Mountain in Rathfarnham last September, 13 months after her disappearance.

The 41-year-old architect was to stand trial at the Central Criminal Court in April next year.

However, in light of a recent failed bail application defence barrister Ronan Kennedy today applied for his trial date to be moved forward.

It will now go on ahead on January 19, next year and is expected to last six weeks.
