Dublin's Glenalbyn swimming pool set for €10m rebuild

One of Dublin's oldest swimming pools is set to be rebuilt at a cost of €10m.

Glenalbyn swimming pool in Stillorgan was forced to shut its doors in mid December due to safety fears.

At a meeting of Dun Laoghaire Rathdown County Council this week, it was decided to demolish the facility and to rebuild a larger structure.

A report on the rebuild will be presented to the council in March.
