Dublin hosts rally in support of new Greek government

A rally in solidarity with the people of Greece and the newly-elected Syriza-led Government will take place in Dublin today.

It comes as members of the Greek Solidarity Committee here in Ireland host Syriza activists in bid to raise awareness of the parties debt proposals.

The demonstration will be chaired by the Greek Solidarity Committee, Syriza activists and the General Secretary of the Mandate Trade Union.

Today's rally will get underway in the Sean O’Casey Community Centre in East Wall, Dublin from 4pm.
