Emergency services have extinguished a Dublin Bus which caught fire on Harold's Cross Road.

Emergency services have extinguished a Dublin Bus which caught fire on Harold's Cross Road.

The fire broke out on the Dublin bus which was out of service at the time at around 1pm today.

The bus was out of service at the time, there were no passengers on board and the driver was uninjured.

As a result of the incident Gardaí, closed Harold's Cross Rd inbound at St Clare's Ave for a time, but it has since re-opened.

The fire has now been extinguished and an investigation into the cause has been launched.
