There were two Irish winners of half a million euro in last night’s Euromillions draw.
The winning tickets were sold in Bunyan's Shop, Ballybunnion, Kerry and Dunnes Stores in Portmarnock County Dublin.
Angela Bunyan, store owner of Bunyan’s in Ballybunion said: “There’s a great buzz about the town this morning and as Ballybunion is a small place the news has spread like wildfire. It is fantastic for our town we’ve been getting customers in all morning asking if the winner was found!”
National Lottery Spokesperson, Miriam O'Donoghue says the luck of the Irish is coming through.
She said: “Ireland is on a roll at the moment when it comes to EuroMillions Plus wins with four so far this year. It is a definitely a case of the rub of the green for our players. We hope it continues for the rest of the year.”
The National Lottery is now encouraging all its players in Dublin and Kerry to check their tickets.
The lucky numbers drawn were 9, 11, 20, 23 and 46.
Nobody scooped the main jackpot of €91m.
Ireland has had four Euromillions wins so far in 2018.
