Donal Walsh's father is joining some of his former schoolmates in beginning a walk in his memory today.
Spreading the message that it is good to be alive, the trek will depart from the Aviva stadium in Dublin, and travel through five counties before arriving at Thomond Park in Limerick on Saturday.
It is being branded the Donal Walsh Livelife Annual Walk, and will see Donal's dad Fionnbar and 46 transition year students stay each night in rugby clubs along the route.
They will be collecting money on their journey, which will be donated to the Donal Walsh LiveLife Foundation, Crumlin Children's Hospital, and a range of charities that are supported by Tralee Rugby club.
