Divers from the Naval Service and the Gardaí will today carry out searches off Sheep's Head peninsula in West Cork for the body of a Dutchman missing in the area for over a week.
31-year-old Roland Deckers went missing with his friend, Othman Rahmouni, after they went out for a walk on Saturday February 8 from a holiday home on the Sheep's Head Peninsula owned by Mr Decker's family.
A search was launched when they failed to make contact with relatives in the Netherlands that weekend, and the body of 33-year-old Othman Rahmouni was recovered from the sea on Monday February 10.
A series of dives were carried out yesterday in poor conditions.
Gardaí and the Naval service will resume their underwater search later today.
