The former private secretary of Frances Fitzgerald has told the Disclosures Tribunal that once you saw Maurice McCabe’s name on an email, you would ensure the Minister saw it as soon as possible.
The email in question outlined a garda strategy to call into question Sergeant McCabe’s motivation and credibility at the O’Higgins Inquiry.

Mr Quattrociocchi says the email would have been printed out and given to the Minister, and records show it was also forwarded on.
