Last year saw a significant increase in the number of workdays lost to industrial disputes.

Last year saw a significant increase in the number of workdays lost to industrial disputes.

14,965 days were lost in 2013, according to figures released by the Central Statistics Office.

They arose through 12 disputes that happened during the year.

That compares with 8,486 days lost in 2012 – an increase of 76% in 2013.
