Fifty new jobs have been announced at Danone in Wexford.

Today's announcement concludes a €180m expansion programme at the company's operations in Macroom and Wexford over the past four years which is supported by Enterprise Ireland.

Minister for Jobs, Richard Bruton, will attend the official opening of the facility later this morning.

By the end of this year employment will have increased at Danone in Ireland from 180 to more than 400 people including the additional 50 jobs being announced today.
