There are reports this morning that Dana is claiming she was attacked by her elderly sister in a toilet in the US, and has reported the alleged incident to the police.

The Irish Mirror reports that 63-year-old Dana called in police alleging her sister Eileen Bradley, 70, had attacked her at a Catholic Marketing Network Trade Show in Chicago.

He is reported to have said Eileen hit and pushed Dana when the singer came out of a toilet cubicle, and that Dana reported the alleged incident to security staff at the convention centre.

Police officers from the Schaumburg Police Department then responded to “a report of a domestic battery” and told the two women to stay away from each other.

It is as yet not clear what led to the alleged incident, but there is a long-running feud in the family over royalties.

Dana was not contactable today for comment.
