More than 46kgs of illegal tobacco has been seized in Co Kerry.

Customs officers seized the roll-your-own tobacco in cargo boxes surrounded by metal sheeting at private homes in Tralee.

The tobacco is worth over €18,000, with a potential loss to the Exchequer of just under €15,000.

Two Polish men, aged in their 30s and 40s, were questioned and the investigation continues.
