Customs officers have seized €20,000 in cash at Dublin Airport.

The money was secured on Monday after officers stopped a foreign national who was boarding a flight to Bratislava.

Officers said the money was concealed in clothes in the man's carry-on luggage.

Revenue has today been granted a three-month detention order over the cash in order to carry out further investigations.
