The Croke Park Streets Committee has said the country star's five nights at the venue breaks the deal between the stadium and residents, and will breach their human rights.

Members have voted to tell their local representatives not to attend any more meetings with stadium officials.

Local resident and solicitor Anthony Fay said the legal action may follow.

"We'll be calling on Dublin City Council to convene a public meeting so people can make oral submissions…on this matter," he said.

"There is the option, which people are seriously looking at, of seeking a judicial review or taking an injunction. This wouldn't happen in the Aviva and it certainly won't be tolerated here."
