Council warns motorists after oil spill stretches through Cork city

The council is dealing with two seperate fuel spills in Cork city this morning.

The council is dealing with two seperate fuel spills in Cork city this morning.

Motorists are being advised of a spillage stretching from the North Ring Rd through the city centre and out onto the N27 South City Link Rd to Airport Hill and on to Fivemilebridge.

From there the spillage continues through Riverstick, Belgooly and on to Kinsale.

AA Roadwatch is advising extreme caution in the areas as there have already been a number of collisions.
