Coroner: No evidence of other involvement in Wheelock death
The jury at the Terence Wheelock inquest has been told by the coroner that his death was caused by the injuries sustained on the day of his arrest on June 2, 2005.
The coroner Dr Brian Farrell has told the jury there is no evidence to suggest third party involvement in his death.
Dr Farrell said the evidence indicates the 20-year-old took his own life in cell number seven at Store St garda station.
Terence Wheelock died in September, having been hospitalised since his arrest.
