A man in his 60s is due in court in Cork this morning after allegedly breaking Covid-19 laws.

Gardaí say he shouted at officers who were on patrol in the Lough area of the city on April 27.

It is alleged he refused to give his name and relevant details.

He was arrested and later charged to appear before Cork City District Court this morning.
