Cork Gardaí arrest two in €40k heroin seizure
Gardaí in Cork have seized €40,000 worth of heroin in Glanmire.
A quarter of a kilo of the drug was found when they stopped and searched a car just after 10pm last night on the Cork to Dublin Road.
Two men were arrested under drug trafficking legislation and are being questioned at Mayfield Garda Station.
Gardaí believe the men were bringing the drugs from Dublin to Cork, to be distributed in Cork city.
