EuroMillions players in Cork city should check their tickets, because they may be millionaires.
Nobody has come forward to claim the €1m prize from the EuroMillions draw from Friday, February 23, and the deadline expires in a week, Thursday, May 24.
The ticket in Ireland was one of the 25 guaranteed prizes of a million euro through participating EuroMillions countries on that day.
It was won with a Quick Pick ticket sold in the Eason shop in the Wilton Shopping Centre in Cork city on the day of the draw.
The winning raffle code of the €1m raffle prize was I-DKB-06633.
National Lottery Chief Executive, Dermot Griffin, has urged EuroMillions players to check their tickets ahead of the deadline.
He said: “We are urging all of our players to cast their mind back to Friday 23rd February because there is a life-changing €1 million EuroMillions prize still waiting to be claimed.
"I am calling on all of all of our players to double-check their homes, pockets, handbags and cars for a EuroMillions ticket which could be worth an incredible €1 million.”
