Fine Gael and Fianna Fáil have concluded their meeting on reviewing and re-negotiating the confidence and supply arrangement.
Fianna Fáil said it was "a good constructive first meeting", and that both parties agreed a schedule for next week.
They will will exchange papers for review next Tuesday, and a full plenary meeting on Thursday.
The parties met this afternoon to discuss the deal that is keeping the government in place, with Taoiseach Leo Varadkar pitching for a two year extension of the arrangement to keep his party in power:
