Commissioner Callinan to meet garda reps 'to listen to concerns'
Garda Commissioner Martin Callinan has said he will meet rank-and-file garda representatives after they said today that he was unaware of the impact of pay cuts and lack of resources.
The Garda Representative Association also said today that it had no confidence in the Justice Minister Alan Shatter.
In a statement tonight, Commissioner Callinan said: "I have arranged to hold a meeting very soon to listen to the concerns and issues raised by the membership to their representatives."
