Two children had a lucky escape after a petrol bomb attack on their home in the North this morning.

Two children had a lucky escape after a petrol bomb attack on their home in the North this morning.

Two devices were thrown into the kitchen of their home in Lisburn at around 4am.

A woman and two children- a girl aged 10 and a 15-year-old boy - were sleeping upstairs at the time.

They were not injured in the incident although they are said to be in deep shock.

Police said here was some scorch damage to the house.
