Centre for cystic fibrosis patients to open in Drogheda

A new centre for cystic fibrosis patients is opening in Drogheda, Co.Louth, today.

Children and young adults from Meath, Louth and North County Dublin will be able to attend the clinic for treatment.

The majority of the project has been completed with thanks to charitable donations and support from a national lottery grant.

Philip Watts, CEO of Cystic Fibrosis Ireland, hopes this new centre at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital will increase patients survival rates.
