Bus Éireann issues new update

Given snowfall in the east of the country, bus services in that region are being monitored on an on-going basis, according to Bus Éireann.

The majority of services in the rest of the country are operating with some delays. Due to heavy snow in Limerick, services between Limerick and Dublin for the rest of the day are cancelled.

Subject to road and weather conditions, the vast majority of services in the east of the country are currently operating with some delays.

The following services in the east are cancelled at the moment, however:

Route 4 Dublin/Waterford service for the moment

Route 5 Dublin-Waterford via New Ross

Route 7 Dublin-Clonmel

102 Ardcath-Dublin

108 5.30pm Dublin-Baileboro

163 Drogheda/Donore

186 Drogheda/Clogherhead - limited service expected later this morning

189 Drogheda/Grangebellew

190 Drogheda/Laytown

104 Blanchardstown-Ashbourne

105 Dublin-Fairyhouse-Ratoath

107 Dublin-Kingscourt

168 1330, 1630 Dundalk-Anaggassan

There is significant disruption to the 109 Dublin-Kells service. Services on route 109 are being diverted via Dublin Port Tunnel with first pick-up location at Blanchardstown.

There is a limited service on the 173 Drogheda Town Service (North and South).

The 100 Drogheda-Dundalk service is being diverted via M1 between Dunleer and Drogheda and is not serving Monasterboice due to ice.

115 Dublin-Mullingar service is unable to serve Ballivor.

111 Dublin-Granard is operating as far as Castlepollard.

133 Dublin-Wicklow is operating to Grand Hotel/Monument only.

In Waterford, 1745 Waterford-Duncannon will operate to New Ross only.

In Wexford, the Wexford-Kilmore Quay, and Wexford-Gorey services are cancelled.

In Cork, here is disruption and delays to some services in Cork county. The following services are cancelled at the moment:

230 Cork-Ballingeary

234 Cork-Stuake

246 Cork-Sarsfield Court

247 Cork-Glenville

248 Cork-Norrie Roche’s Cross

255 Macroom-Kilcrohane

There are diversions on the 233, 222, 223 and 206 services.

In Kerry, the Tralee/Cork service will not operate via Millstreet and Rathmore due to poor road conditions and will use Ballyvourney/County Bounds Road instead.

Services in the Killorglin area remain disrupted in particular on the Tralee to Killorglin Road. It is hoped that a full service will operate between 10am and 4pm approx.
