Bus Eireann, in conjunction with Stena Line and Irish Ferries, has put in place additional coaches for the some of its services to the UK for the rest of the week while disruption to air traffic remains.
Aviation chiefs have closed Irish airspace until 6pm today and warned that the no-fly order imposed because of the Iceland volcanic ash cloud looks set to run until the end of the week.
Air traffic bosses at the Irish Aviation Authority (IAA) said the flight ban could remain until Thursday or Friday when it is hoped weather systems from the Atlantic will disperse the ash.
The following are the extra services provided by Bus Eireann to the UK:
7.30pm Eurolines Dublin (Busaras) – Birmingham/London (city centre)
7.15pm Eurolines Dublin-Liverpool-Manchester-Leeds
4pm Eurolines Cork/Waterford-London (city centre)
Eurolines services to London can be used to connect with Eurolines services across Europe.
