Gardaí have recovered the body of missing Tipperary man James O'Dwyer.

Gardaí have recovered the body of missing Tipperary man James O'Dwyer.

The discovery was made a short time ago in a field not far from the farm where the 61-year-old worked near Mullinahone.

He had been missing since Sunday morning.

Gardaí said Mr O'Dwyer's body will be taken to South Tipperary General Hospital where a post mortem will be carried out.

The cause of death is unknown at this stage.
