Gardaí have said they do not believe foul play was involved in the death of a man in his 30s whose body was found in a car park near Cork city centre this morning.

Gardaí have said they do not believe foul play was involved in the death of a man in his 30s whose body was found in a car park near Cork city centre this morning.

Garda technical experts have examined the scene but its understood the man had no signs of injury.

His body has been removed to Cork University Hospital for a post Mortem.

It is believed the dead man was from the Togher area of Cork city.

Gardai are this morning speaking to family members in an attempt to establish his last known movements.

The body of a man has been found in the grounds of a car park in Cork.

The discovery was made at White Street at around 7.30am this morning.

The man has yet to be identified.

Gardaí are at the scene, but say they are not treating the death as suspicious at this stage.
